The academic calendar of the Rose Hulman Institute of Technology:

  • Inforamtion to the offered courses can be found under www.rose-hulman.edu and in the relevant departments! Dr. Thomas Mason is for example responsible for "Engineering Management".
  • During the 3 quarters courses (classes) are attended in which points have to be collected.
  • Since the master programm is seldomly accomplished in 3 quarters, it is possible to apply for a prologation (decision from quarter to quarter if prolongation necessary and granted) to finish with the master degreee. In most cases the first three quarters are used to gain the necessary points for all classes. Time to work on the master thesis is usually not until afterwards.

  • The master thesis, which in most cases starts after 3 quarters, is also called "Integrated Project" at the Rose Hulman and lasts about 4 month.
  • Possible acceptance of the master thesis as semester thesis (through the Department of Logistics)!
